The man has become like an alcoholic, addictively biting himself, and becoming drunk off his own blood. [[Seishirou Kirishiki]] tells Tohru to go see Sunako. At the mansion, [[Sunako Kirishiki|Sunako]] brings him coffee. Sunako then tells him her life story, of being turned into a shiki by a stranger who came to town; of how sad and painful her life is. Tohru understands, and realizes that even with the pain, he too, still wants to live. He goes back the next night to Natsuno's house, and says goodbye. With that, [[Natsuno Koide|Natsuno]] appears, and greets him. |
